Corvin Oprea, received weekly praise from the University Athletic Association (UAA) as announced by the conference on Monday.

Gjevre and Mackey were named the UAA Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Athletes of the Week, respectively, while Oprea was selected as the Co-Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week.

Gjevre was a triple-winner for Rochester, as the Yellowjackets defeated SUNY Brockport on Friday evening, winning 160-68 over the Golden Eagles. The senior started with a win on UR's 200-medley relay in 1:37.83, and later won two other individual events. He touched first in the 200 IM in 2:05.27 and was also the winner in the 100 backstroke in 1:00.65.
Mackey was Rochester's lone double-winner in a dual-meet team victory over SUNY Brockport on Friday evening (161.5-79.5). The 'Jacket first-year won the 200 freestyle in 1:59.81 and later touched the wall first in the 100 butterfly in a season-best 59.50 seconds.
Oprea was named Tournament MVP of the UR Chuck Resler Invitational, helping Rochester to victories over Buffalo State (94-56) and Utica (103-80), scoring an average of 24.5 PPG, while also securing 6.0 RPG and 3.0 APG. Oprea shot 16-26 overall (.615), was 10-for-16 from 3-point range (.625) and made 7-of-9 free throws (.778) combined over the two games. Oprea's best game was in the title match against Utica, where he poured in a career-high 37 points, coming on 12-16 field goals, 7-11 3-pointers and 6-8 FT, adding 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals in the win.
