University of Rochester women's basketball graduate student Erin Lillis, senior Raquel Williams and sophomore Tia Poulakidas were selected to the  College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Women's Basketball Team, as announced by CSC on Tuesday.

The 2024-25 CSC Academic All-District® Women's Basketball Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes. To be nominated, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and must have competed in at least 90 percent or must have started at least 66 percent of an institution's contests.

Lillis put together a stellar campaign in her lone season with the Yellowjackets, appearing and starting all 25 games en route to Second-Team All-University Athletic Association (UAA) honors. The graduate student averaged 12.2 points per game on a team-high 42.4 percent shooting, adding 60 assists, 46 rebounds and 37 steals. Lillis scored double-figures 14 times this season, including a season-high 27 in a non-conference win over SUNY Cortland, after which the Bloomington, IN native earned both UAA Athlete of the Week and D3hoops.com Team of the Week honors.

Off the court, Lillis, who's majoring in finance at Simon, is a member of both the Simon Finance and Investment Club, and Simon Women in Business. As an undergraduate at Grinnell, Lillis received the Gilbert DeBartolo Memorial Scholarship, was elected Phi Beta Kappa and was a three-time Academic All-Midwest and CSC Academic All-District selection. Lillis also previously wrote a paper entitled "Assessing the Impacts of Residency Restrictions on Sex Crimes" that's being published in the Stanford Economic Review, and volunteered with a local mentorship program, as well as the Rosenfield Program while at Grinnell.

Williams appeared in all 25 games, making one start for the 'Jackets this season, playing a key role off the bench. The senior averaged 3.1 points and 3.7 rebounds per game, totaling 92 rebounds and 72 points, 21 steals, seven assists and five blocks. Williams grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds and added six points in UR's 75-48 win at Hartwick on Nov. 16, and hit a season-high eight points in a win over RIT on Jan. 7.

A double major in health policy and African and Black Studies with a minor in political science, Williams is a three-time UAA All-Academic selection and a two-time CSC Academic All-District honoree. On campus, the senior is a member of the Pre-Law Society and served as the President of both the Black Student Union and Black Student Athlete Coalition. This year, Williams was named one of UR's Lysle 'Spike' Garnish Scholar-Athletes and is this year's recipient of the Fannie Bigelow Award from the Susan B. Anthony Center. Back home in Alameda, CA, Williams is also an avid member of the community, volunteering and co-founding a social justice organization dedicated to fighting for racial justice in Alameda.

Poulakidas started all but two games for the Yellowjackets this season, averaging 7.0 points and 3.8 rebounds per game in 20.6 minutes per game. Shooting 39.6 percent from the floor, Poulakidas totaled 174 points, 96 rebounds, 24 assists, 23 steals and three blocks in 515 minutes, the third-most on the team. The sophomore scored in double figures seven times, including a career-high 20 points vs. WashU on Jan. 24, and scored double figures in back-to-back non-conference wins over William Smith and Ithaca, falling two rebounds shy of a double-double against the Herons.

Away from the gym, Poulakidas is majoring in ecology and evolutionary biology, earned UAA All-Academic honors this season and TAed for INTR 106. The Naperville, IL native also received the UofR Dean's Scholarship, and is an active volunteer in her home community, volunteering with the Phillips Park Zoon in Aurora, IL, the DuPage Volley Forest Preserve in Naperville, IL, and the St. Athanasios Church in Aurora.

Academic All-District selections will be evaluated by a sub-committee and advanced to the national, All-America ballot, to be voted on by CSC members within their respective divisions.

The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's and women's basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
