PITTSFORD, NY – The University of Rochester women's track & field team placed a pair of times in the top three of their respective events on the NCAA Division III Outdoor Qualifying List on Sunday at the St. John Fisher Cardinal Last Chance Meet at the Polisseni Track & Field Complex.

With just under two weeks until the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, Nora Chen and the 'Jackets 4x400-meter relay notched the 3rd-best times in the 400-meter hurdles and the 4x400-meter relay.

Chen smashed her own school record in the 400 hurdles, winning the event with a school-record and All-Atlantic region (AARTFC) qualifying time of 1:00.40, the third-fastest 400-meter hurdle time in DIII so far this outdoor season.

Then Chen joined Eva Ciuffetelli, Raquella Casserino and Megan Bell to clock in at 3:43.84 in the 4x400-meter relay, a first-place result, another AARTFC qualifier and again, the third-fastest 4x400-meter time in Division III so far this season.

Ciuffetelli also ran the 400-meter hurdles alongside Chen, finishing fourth with a time of 1:02.45, another AARTFC qualifier. On the day, the Yellowjackets notched a pair of first-place results, six top-three finishes, six regional qualifiers and four new personal-best marks.

Julia Largett started Rochester's day on the track with a sixth-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles, clocking in at 17.35 seconds, while UR saw three 'Jackets finish in the top five of the 400 meters.

Maya Hatch paced the trio with a third-place finish and time of 1:00.61, Emily Dill took fourth with a time of 1:00.85, and Rita Sciortino finished fifth, clocking in at 1:01.38, with all three setting new personal-best times.

In the field events, Cora Rose was UR's top finisher in both the discus and hammer throw, finishing second in the discus with a 42.83m toss, and sixth in the hammer with a 46.41m throw, with both marks hitting the AARTFC qualification standard.

Aimee Oszer joined Rose in the top three of the discus with a 41.32m toss, good for third place, a new PR and an AARTFC qualifier, while Madison Vargas took ninth with a 36.31m throw.

Vargas also placed in the shot put, finishing seventh (11.54m), while Deziree Garrick was Rochester's top thrower in the event, netting third place with a 12.34m toss, another regional qualifying mark.
