Jasmin Toor were recognized by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) for their efforts both on the court and in the classroom on the Women's Tennis Academic All-District Team, as announced by CSC on Tuesday.

The 2024-25 CSC Academic All-District® Women's Tennis Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes. To be nominated, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and have been in the lineup for at least 70% of the total matches played by the team during the season.

A four-year All-University Athletic Association (UAA) selection, Libby capped off her career with Second-Team Singles and Honorable Mention Doubles All-UAA honors, the seventh and eighth All-Association accolades for the senior. This season, Libby appeared in all 20 dual matches for the Yellowjackets, compiling a 14-8 record in singles play and a 13-10 record in doubles across UR's 20 matches and two fall tournaments. While this past Fall, Libby won her third-straight 'A' flight singles title at William Smith's Mary Hosking Invitational and reached the doubles semifinals with fellow Yellowjacket
Katie Yang at the ITA Northeast Regional Championships. For her career, Libby finishes with a 66-28 record in singles play, the fourth-most singles wins in program history, and a 51-43 record in doubles action.

Off the court, Libby, a financial economics major, is a three-time UAA All-Academic selection, a three-time ITA Scholar-Athlete and a three-time CSC Academic All-District selection. Additionally, Libby was named a Lysle 'Spike' Garnish Scholar-Athlete this past fall and also obtained a certificate in actuarial sciences, in addition to her financial economics major. Following her graduation from UR, Libby is headed to Mercer to work as an actuarial consultant.

Toor appeared in 18 matches for the Yellowjackets this season, compiling a 9-12 record in singles play and a 7-11 record in doubles action. The junior played singles matches at the No. 1, 2, 3 and 4 spots, going 3-1 at the No. 3 spot, while seeing doubles action at both the No. 2 and 3 matches. Toor was a double-winner three times in wins over SUNY Geneseo, Hamilton and Nazareth, helping start UR's comeback win over the Continentals with a three-set singles win.

A double major in brain and cognitive sciences and anthropology, Toor has twice been named to the UAA All-Academic Team and once to the ITA Scholar-Athlete squad. On campus, Toor is a member of the Meliora Scholars, the Anthropology Council and UR's Varsity Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and received both the Dean's Scholarship and a Samuel's Grant. A native of McLean, VA, Toor volunteers as both a tennis coach and with the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, and plans on obtaining a PhD. In neuroanthropology, following her graduation from UR next year.

Academic All-District selections will be evaluated by a subcommittee and advanced to the national, All-America ballot, to be voted on by CSC members within their respective divisions.
