29 University of Rochester student-athletes from URochester's University Athletic Association (UAA) winter sports: men's and women's basketball and men's and women's swimming & diving, received UAA All-Academic honors, as announced by the conference on Thursday.
All-Academic recognition is awarded to student-athletes who have completed at least one full year of college study at their current UAA institution, and who carry a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.500.
Across the UAA, 426 individuals from the eight member institutions met All-Academic criteria, representing approximately 67 percent of the total eligible student-athletes.
Rochester women's swimming and diving had a program-high 14 honorees, while women's basketball saw six athletes honored, men's swimming & diving had five selections, and four from men's basketball received recognition.
