At UR 2011: Had an outstanding senior season for the Yellowjackets which cumulated with him being named an AFCA 1st Team All-American, the first for UR in 18 years...Bickford also was named a unanimous 1st Team All-Liberty League selection and a member of the All-East Region by D3football.com...The defensive end's senior season statistics include 54 tackles (26 solo), 6 sacks, 13 TFL and 1 forced fumble...He also scored one offensive TD as a short yardage back...Ended career ranking fourth in UR history in sacks with 17.5 and third in school history with 47.5 TFL...Selected as one of UR's team captains for 2011.
At UR 2010: As a junior, Bickford became an even stronger defensive presence....He led the team in tackles for loss with 11.5, accouting for 39 yards lost...Had the fourth most tackles on the team with 31...The Yellowjacket coaching staff took advantage of his unique combination of size and strength by using him in short yardage situations on offense, as he scored a team leading four touchdowns on 21 carries...Following the season, he was a unanimous selection to the All-Liberty League first team.
At UR 2009: As a sophomore, he was moved to defensive line, but continued to be a force on defense...led the team with 12.5 tackles for loss...Finished with four sacks, good for second on the team, and 32.5 tackles (23 solo)...Named First Team All-Liberty League.
At UR 2008: Freshman year saw Bickford burst onto the scene...He led the team with 63 tackles, 5 sacks, 10.5 tackles for loss and 49 solo tackles...His efforts did not go unoticed, as he was named Liberty League Rookie of the Week for four straight weeks in October and November...Named Second Team All-Liberty League.
HS: Played for the Wolverines at Willits High in Willits, CA...Was on honor roll all four years...Was president of the student body and vice president of his junior class...Member of the National Society of High School Scholars...Earned six letters in three sports, two letters in football, two letters in basketball, and two letters in baseball...Team captain his senior year in all three sports...Was recognized as one of the teams’ top players in football both his junior and senior year...Named to the All-league team for football and baseball both junior and senior year, and basketball his senior year...Was also named to the All-Empire team in football junior and senior year, basketball his senior year and baseball his senior year...Helped the Wolverines win their league in baseball...Named most valuable player both his junior and senior year in football...Earned 4th place in California for tackles, and 20th in the nation with 167 tackles.
