At UR 2012: Named team captain...Started all nine games for UR on the offensive line...Helped the Yellowjackets gain over 3100 yards of total offense during the season.

At UR 2011: Was the team's primary center his sophomore season...Was a part of an offensive line that helped the Yellowjackets accumulate over 300 yards of offense per game.

At UR 2010: His freshman year saw him start the final three games of the season at guard, making him the only Rochester freshman to start a game for the offensive line...The Yellowjackets won all three games Hoffman started, and the team averaged 31 points per game during that stretch.

HS: Two year letterwinner in both football and wrestling at New Hartford HS...Named football team captain in '09...4th Team All-State DE...Helped Spartans to Section III Class A Championship in 2009.

Personal:  Brother Bryan (class of 2015) plays for UR football as well as a member of the Yellowjacket offensive line.
