At UR 2011: Anchored the offensive line his senior season starting all nine games at various positions up front...Offense averaged over 300 yards total offense per game behind him and the rest of the o-line...Ended the year being named to the D3football.com All-East region team as well as being a unanimous 1st Team All-Liberty League selection...Selected as UR team captain...Earned Lysle "Spike" Garnish Award from UR Athletic Department...Named to the National Football Foundations Hampshire Honor Society for his academic achievement at Rochester.

At UR 2010: Whiting's junior year saw him start all nine games at tackle for the Yellowjackets...With his presence on the line, Rochester's offense averaged 134.6 rushing yards per game...Following the season, he was named to the All-Liberty League Second Team.

HS: Attended LeRoy HS where he was a lettered in football, basketball and baseball for the Knights...Two-time football team captain and also basketball captain senior year...Earned All-State and All-Greater Rochester honors in football his senior season...Named All-County in baseball and basketball as a senior...Helped football team win sectionals in 2004, '06 and '07 along with helping baseball team capture league crowns in '07 and '08.
