Top-seeded Partha Bhattacharya and Dan Williford won the men's Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regional Doubles Championship at Vassar College on Sunday afternoon.

The victory means they will travel to the ITA National Championship later in October.

Bhattacharya and Williford defeated Hobart's Andrew Pine and Joe McAndrew, 9-7, in the title match. In teh quarterfinals, they defeated opponents from Nazareth, 8-3. In the semis, they eliminated opponents from Skidmore, 8-2.

Williford, who upended top-seeded Bhattacharya in the singles quarterfinals, lost in the semifinals, 7-5, 7-5, to David Chachu of RIT.
