The men's tennis team won its fourth straight match - and third in the last three days - with a 6-1 victory over Division I Niagara.
Rochester swept all three doubles events and won second through sixth singles to wrap up the match. All five singles wins were straight sets and two of them - #3 and #6 - were by 6-0, 6-0.
Colin Ryan defeated Jason Ramos, 0 and 0 at #3. Mike Lee defeated Dave Reuter 0 and 0 at #6. Partha Bhattacharya defeated Anderw mayer, 6-3, 6-1, at #2.
Josh Bruce-Black topped Chris Hrisuvolos, 6-1, 6-1, at #4. Eric Prince defeated John Abella, 6-4, 6-1 at #5.
Niagara's lone win came at #1 singles where Erick Garcia defeated Avinash Reddy, 7-5, 7-5.
In doubles, Ryan and Dan Williford defeated Garcia and Ramos, 8-4, at #1. Reddy and Bhattacharya defeated Abella and Mayer, 8-0 at #2. Prince and Brian Shenker defeated Hrisuvolos and Reuter, 8-3, at #3.
Rochester evened its record at 4-4 overall. The Yellowjackets host RIT on Sunday at 3 pm in the Goergen Center.
