Colin Ryan defeated Boris Sofman, 6-3, 1-6, 7-5 at #2, Partha Bhattachrya defeated Paul Buyanovsky, 6-1, 6-4 at #3, Avinash Reddy defeated Carl Yang, 6-3, 6-2 at #4, and Eric Prince defeated Jason Zucker, 6-2, 6-4 at #5.
CMU's victory came at #1 singles with Steve Ehrlich defeating Dan Williford, 7-6, 7-5. The sixth singles match, scheduled to pair Jordan Koslosky and Mike Lee, was not played.

It came down to a battle of freshmen at #5 singles with Washington's Chris Kuppler edging Mike Lee, 7-5, 7-5, to secure the spot in the final.
NYU defeated Brandeis, 4-2, indoors to finish fifth, and Case Western Reserve won all six singles matches for a 6-0 win over Chicago for seventh place.
The men's championship and third place matches were played indoors at the Robert Goergen Athletic Center on the University campus. The third place match began at noon.
