The men's tennis team is 6-6 after a 1-2 trip to New England last weekend. The Yellowjackets lost to #15 Bates College, 5-2, on Saturday, then defeated Brandeis University, 5-0. On Sunday, Rochester lost, 6-1, to Bowdoin College.
Against Bates, Colin Ryan won, 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 at #2 singles. Avinash Reddy won, 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 at #4 singles. Bates won the doubles point, although Eric Prince and Brian Shenker won, 9-8 (5) at #3 doubles for Rochester.
The Yellowjackets secured the doubles point and won the first four singles matches vs. Brandeis before the match was halted.
Freshman Mike Lee, who won 6-1, 6-4 at #6 singles, was Rochester's only winner against Bowdoin College.
