The University of Rochester men's tennis team saw its top two players in the singles lineup earn All-Association honors from the University Athletic Association on Wednesday morning following an announcement from the conference.

Sophomore's
Andy Liu and
Alan Wang were the recipients on the All-UAA squad in 2025-26, with Liu earning Second Team honors as a first singles player and Wang garnering Honorable Mention recognition as a second singles player.

For Liu, the honor this season is the first All-UAA award of his career, while Wang receives his third All-Conference accolade. Wang was a Second Team All-UAA selection in 2024-25 at first doubles and Honorable Mention pick at second singles.

This season, URochester finished with a 6-13 overall record and ended 0-3 at the UAA tournament two weeks ago. The Yellowjackets faced off against eight nationally-ranked teams during the year and earned a strong win against #33 Rensselaer back in late March. UR also had regional wins against teams like Nazareth, RIT, St. Lawrence and Hobart.

Second Team
Andy Liu (SO, Beijing, China/Ready Global Academy) – First All-UAA honor; Liu was Rochester's top singles player in 2025-26, playing 15 of 19 matches at the #1 singles slot. The sophomore finished with a singles record of 8-14 overall, going 6-12 in dual matches. He earned a Region II ranking as high as number six from the NCAA late in the spring season and is currently in-consideration for a ranking ahead of postseason individual selections. Liu also finished with a 3-7 record in doubles. Liu's signature win this season came on February 21st when he defeated #14 nationally-ranked player Ivan Kisic of Ithaca in straight sets, winning 6-4, 7-6 in a home match.

Honorable Mention
Alan Wang (SO, Herndon, VA/Oakton) – Third All-UAA honor (2025 2nd Team doubles, 2025 HM singles); Wang had another solid season for the Yellowjackets, compiling an 8-11 overall record on the year. That mark included a winning record in dual matches, going 8-7 overall, playing in five of the six singles positions in URochester's lineup. The sophomore added four wins during doubles play this season. Wang had a solid stretch of play in the month of March, going 5-1 in singles play, including picking up a key straight-set win against #33 RPI to lift the 'Jackets past the Engineers in the team match.
