The University of Rochester men's swimming and diving team enjoyed a great weekend at the UAA Championships, setting numerous school records, earning multiple NCAA B Cuts and swimming many personal best times.

The conference compiled final results on Tuesday and the Yellowjacket men ended up in 7th place of 8 teams in one of the best swimming conferences in the country. UR scored a total of 618 team points in the event.

The massive winter storm that hit the southern region of the United States forced an adjustment in the UAA's annual Swimming and Diving Championships. All of the divers were able to reach Atlanta and Emory University conducted that championship. Five teams, Emory, Washington, NYU, Carnegie Mellon, and Brandeis were also able to get into town as well. Emory finished its hosting chores on Saturday evening. Three teams, Rochester, the University of Chicago, and Case Western Reserve University competed at Case in a UAA Invitational on Saturday and Sunday. After the conclusion of Sunday's events the results were forwarded to Emory and combined with the results there to form final standings.

In the 200-yard freestyle relay group 'A' swam a 1:23.51 and finished 5th overall. The team, made up of Chris Doser, Pat Davis, Brett Maus and Alex King, broke a school record with their time.
