Eileen Bequette finished a runaway second place at the Brockport Multi & Invitational at the College of Brockport on Sunday and Monday afternoons.

Bequette totaled 4,568 points in the heptathlon. She was about 500 points shy of the champion, Emily Lavarnway of SUNY Geneseo. There were 10 competitors in the field representing six institutions. Bequette won the javelin throw, Lavarnway won the other six. Bequette's point total put her more than 900 points ahead of the third place finisher.

In the throwing events, she was first in the javelin (35.52 m.) and fourth in the shot put (8.81 m.). She was second four times – in the high jump (1.57 m.), the 200 meters (:27.64)., the long jump (5.23 m.), and the 800 meters (2:20.03). She opened with a third place finish in the 100 hurdles (:15.89).
