Aeden Angelone will represent the University of Rochester at the NCAA Division III Championship Meet in Geneva, Ohio. The event will be conducted at the SPIRE Institute from Thursday through Saturday.

This will be the third appearance at a national championship this year for Sikorski. He ran at the 2021 NCAA Division III Cross Country championships in the fall and at the 2022 Indoor Track & Field Championships in the winter. He finished 10
th in the 800 meter run indoors in late winter.

He qualified for the 2019-20 NCAA Championships indoors in the 800, but the meet was cancelled the evening before the start date due to the pandemic. Sikorski qualified for the 2021 outdoor championship in the 1,500 where he finished 10
th. Â

This year, his qualifying time is 3:46,84. That is the seventh best time of the 1,500 meter runners.

Angelone is making his NCAA debut after a strong outdoor season. He accumulated 6,387 points (ranked #16 out of 20 qualifiers for the decathlon national championship). He reached that total when he won the decathlon at the SUNY Geneseo Quad meet & Multi in late April. In early May, he finished second at the Liberty League championships with a total of 5,819 points.

This meet marks the 30
th time Rochester will compete at the national championships in outdoor track & field. The initial appearance came in 1970.
