PITTSFORD, NY – The University of Rochester women's track & field team saw four Yellowjackets claim five First-Team All-America honors on the final day of competition at the 2024-25 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by Nazareth University at the Golisano Training Center.
Bell claimed UR's first All-America honor of the day in the 800 meters, notching her seventh-career All-America recognition. The senior finished third, clocking in with a time of 2:08.37 seconds. Bell opened the first lap in second place, and quickly moved into the first over the next two laps, before finishing the final in third place.
Bell, along with
Eva Ciuffetelli,
Nora Chen and
Raquella Casserino, added to Rochester's All-America tally just over an hour later in the 4x400 Relay. Running in the second and final heat, UR finished sixth with a season-best time of 3:49.20 to notch First-Team All-America honors in the 4x400 relay for the fourth-consecutive year.
Ciuffetelli got the 'Jackets started with a 59.23-second opening leg before Chen ran a 56.19-second split and Casserino handed it off to Bell after a 58.44-second third leg, Bell then wrapped up the relay with Rochester's fastest leg, running a 55.34-second final leg to finish fourth in their heat and sixth overall.

The Yellowjackets wrapped up the indoor championships with six total All-America honors, two each from Bell and Chen, as well as one for both Ciuffetelli and Casserino. As a team, Rochester tallied nine points to tie for 26th out of 64 scoring teams.
MIT took home the women's title with 49 points, with WashU (45.5 points), Wisconsin-La Crosse (37 points), Loras (32 points) and SUNY Geneseo (29 points) rounding out the top-five team finishers.
Rochester will be back in action when it kicks off the outdoor season at RIT's Bill Q Invitational in Henrietta, NY on Saturday, March 29 at 10:00 a.m.
