Logan Jagodzinski earned 2024-25 United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) All-Rochester Area First-Team honors, as announced by the Rochester Chapter of the USBWA.

Both Gress and Jagodzinski were named to the USBWA Rochester Area NCAA Division II-III Teams for the second time in their careers, with Gress having earned First-Team honors in 2023-24, while Jagodzinski received Honorable Mention accolades that same year.

Gress started every game for the Yellowjacket women this season, leading UR across all five major statistical categories. The graduate guard/forward averaged 17.2 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.6 steals and 0.5 blocks per game, shooting 41.9 percent (164-for-391) from the floor, 29.9 percent (40-for-134) from three and 77.5 percent (62-for-80) from the free-throw line.

The St. James, NY native adds All-Area honors to a growing list of accolades that includes Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Honorable Mention All-America, D3hoops.com First-Team All-Region 3 and First-Team All-University Athletic Association (UAA) recognition.

Gress earned All-Tournament honors at both the Chuck Resler Tournament and Mark's Pizzeria Crosstown Shootout, combining for 41 points and 15 rebounds across the 'Jackets' two contests against St. John Fisher and Nazareth.

Jagodzinski, an Honorable Mention All-UAA selection, was the Rochester men's top scorer this season, averaging a team-high 12.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per game on 41.1 (104-for-253) percent shooting. Jagodzinski appeared in and played 24 contests, totaling a team-best 294 points, 128 rebounds, 26 steals and 18 blocks to go along with 37 assists.

The Moorestown, NJ native scored in double figures in 15 contests, including eight straight to start the year. He was named the Mark's Pizzeria Crosstown Shootout Tournament MVP following his performance against St. John Fisher and Nazareth, scoring 40 points across UR's two contests against its crosstown foes en route to MVP honors, shooting upwards of 50 percent from the field in both games.

Against Fisher, Jagodzinski shot 7-for-13 (53.8%), scoring 21 points to go along with seven rebounds, five steals and three assists, while vs. Nazareth, Jagodzinski totaled 19 points on 54.5 percent shooting (6-for-11), knocking down three triples and adding eight rebounds, two assists and a steal.

The USBWA Rochester area is made up of nine local Division II and III schools: Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Keuka College, Roberts Wesleyan, RIT, the University of Rochester, Nazareth University, St. John Fisher University, SUNY Brockport and SUNY Geneseo.
