NORTHBOROUGH, MA – University of Rochester senior attacker Alyssa Gorny was named the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) NCAA Division III Co-Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the IWLCA on Tuesday.

Gorny, who was also named the Liberty League Women's Lacrosse Offensive Performer of the Week, notched all three game-winning goals as the Yellowjackets went 3-0 against Utica, Skidmore and RPI to improve to 11-4 overall on the season and 7-2 in conference play.

The senior scored 11 goals on 18 total shots and had 6 assists over Rochester's three contests, adding in 17 draw controls, 9 ground balls and 7 caused turnovers.

The Ellicott City, MD native had five goals and two assists at Utica on Tuesday, five goals and three assists against Skidmore on Friday, and scored 1 goal, the game-winner in the final two minutes, against RPI on Saturday.

During the week, Gorny continued to set records for URochester, setting the career draw controls and game-winning goals records, while tying the single-season points record.
