At UR 2015-16: Indoor: Competed in seven meets indoors as a senior, not finishing below 7th in any race, including posting five wins...Was on distance medley relay that ran a time of 10:06.01 at the Tufts Final Qualifier on Mar. 4, ending the season ranked #20 in NCAA Division III, earning USTFCCCA All-Region honors in the process...Was a double state champion at the NYSCTC Meet, finishing 1st in the DMR and on the 4x800m relay while also placing 3rd in the mile...Finished 3rd at the ECAC Championships in the 800m, running an indoor career best of 1:53.78...Had UR's fastest times this season in the 800m, 1000m (2:29.47) and mile (4:17.80)...Was a double-winner at the Brockport Multi & Invitational on Jan. 30...Elected team captain for 2015-16 season.
Outdoor: Capped great career with another outstanding season...Was on 4x800m relay team which captured 1st place at the ECAC Outdoor Championships in a time of 7:44.34, the best by a UR squad this season...Also, led UR with the fastest times in the 800m and 1500m...Also, ended 11th at ECAC's in the 800m...Was a double-winner at the NYSCTC Outdoor Championships, winning the 800m in a career best 1:53.45 while also being a part of the 4x800m relay and the 7th place 4x400m relay...Participated at the Penn Relays on UR's outdoor DMR squad...Was honored by the UR Athletic Department as the Peter DiPasquale Award winner as top male scholar athlete...Named All-Academic selection by the USTFCCCA...Earned CoSIDA Academic All-American honors for his work in the classroom.
At UR 2014-15: Indoor: Enjoyed a fantastic junior season which saw him earn six podium finishes at the NYSCTC and ECAC Indoor Championships combined...Finished runner-up at ECAC's in the 1500m in 3:59.34 a UR season best time...Also, was 5th in the mile and 5th on the 4x800m relay at ECAC's...Two runner-up finishes at states, coming in the mile and distance medley relay while also placing 6th in the 800m...Was a part of the school record breaking distance medley relay at the Boston U. Valentine Invitational which finished in a time of 10:03.85 (ranked 31st in NCAA Division III)...Also posted UR season best and personal best time in the mile (4:15.51) at Boston U.
Outdoor: Kept strong season going with 12 top-8 finishes in eight spring events...Was a NYSCTC outdoor champion in the 1500m while also finishing 4th in the 800m at states...On 3rd place 4x800m relay team which posted a UR season best time of 7:44.09 at the ECAC championships...Posted a PR time of 1:54.85 in the 800m at the UAlbany Last Chance Meet on May 9...Earned wins in 800 and on 4x800m relay at the SJFC Cardinal Classic and UR Alumni Invitational, respectively.
At UR 2013-14: Indoor: Competed in eight meets during winter of sophomore season...Captured a NYSCTC Indoor Championship title in the 1000m, running a UR season best 2:31.07...Also, was on state runner-up team in 4x800m relay...Qualified for the ECAC Indoor Championships where he was on 2nd place 4x800m relay which ran a season best 7:51.54...Ended 11th in the 800m at ECACs...Ended the season ranked in the top-100 in NCAA Division III in the 800m after his time of 1:54.77 from the Cornell Deneault Invitational.
Outdoor: Enjoyed a super outdoor season, earning 11 top-4 finishes across eight meets...Ran in three events at the ECAC Outdoor Championships, finishing 11th in the 800m, 10th on the 4x800m relay and 18th on the 4x400m relay...Earned NYSCTC Outdoor title on 4x800m relay and was 3rd individually in the 800m run...Posted season best runs for the team in the 800m (1:54.86) and on the 4x800m relay (7:52.80).
At UR 2012-13: Indoor: Freshman had a fantastic winter season, earning 11 total top-5 finishes...Earned 5th place in both the 1000m (2:31.51) and on the 4x800m relay (7:52.00) at the ECAC Indoor Championships...Earned 3rd in the 1000m, 4th in the 4x800m and 5th on the 4000m distance medley relay at the NYSCTC Championships...Was on winning 4x800m relay team at the Hamilton Continental Invitational...Ran UR's top time in the 1000m during indoor season.
Outdoor: Kept strong first year going with seven more top-5 finishes across nine outdoor events...Competed at ECAC's on the 4x800m relay team that finished in 9th place...Also, was 3rd on that relay at the NYSCTC Championships where he placed 6th in the 1500m and 9th in the 800m individually...Earned two 2nd place finishes at the RWC Redhawk Open in the 4x400m relay and in the 800m...Was on 1st place 4x800m relay at the UR Alumni Invitational on Apr. 6...Earned two top-10's at the Washington & Lee Carnival, beating over 50 runners in each race (800m/1500m)...Ranked 1st on UR with his best runs in the 800m and 1500m during 2013 season.
HS: Attended Newark HS where he ran on the cross country and track teams for the Reds...Named co-captain of both teams in 2011-12 school year...Named most outstanding runner in 2011 and 2012...Named 1st Team All-Greater Rochester during indoor track his senior year...Placed 10th at NYSPHSAA Championships in the 1000m run (2:34.4)...Helped team win two Section V championships in track and also was a part of two sectional winning relays...Class valedictorian and George Eastman Young Leader award winner.
