The women's tennis team at the University of Rochester has played an extremely tough springtime schedule – matches on the West Coast against Chapman College, Whittier College, and the University of the Redlands.
 
Back in the East, the Yellowjackets have tangled with Ithaca, William Smith, Skidmore, and St. Lawrence among the regional foes. Now, they face their toughest test of all.
 
Rochester will play at Williams College on Sunday at 10 am. Williams is unbeaten and ranked number one nationally.
 
"It will be a great experience for us to compete against the #1 ranked team in DIII college tennis, said Rochester head coach Matt Nielsen. “The team is looking forward to the challenge." 
 
The signature match of the day will come at first singles with Rochester's Frances Tseng paired against Kristin Alotta of Williams.  In the just-issued regional rankings by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, Alotta is ranked number two. Tseng is ranked number six.
