At UR 2014-15: Indoor: Ran seven indoor meets as a freshman, joining the team after a solid first year playing soccer at UR...Was a NYSCTC Indoor champion on the 4x400m relay, also finishing 7th individually in the 800m at states in a season best 2:25.35...Was on the school record setting 4x400m relay at the Boston U. Valentine Invitational which ran a time of 3:56.71 and ended the season ranked #42 in NCAA Division III...Had four total event wins during the year and seven other top-5 finishes.

Outdoor: Competed in seven meets for Rochester...Helped set another school record in the 4x400m relay, this time coming at the NYSCTC meet where UR ran a 3:53.51 and ended up being ranked 40th in Division III...Also, was 13th in the 400m at states in a season best 1:01.81...On 4x400m relay which ended 20th at the ECAC Outdoor Championships...1st place at the UR Alumni Invitational on the 4x800m relay.

HS: Lettered in soccer along with indoor and outdoor track and field for the Spartans of New Hartford HS...Also, played club soccer for the Empire Revolution...Earned Presidents Education Award, was an AP Scholar and earned the Academic Excellence Award in Mandarin I and II.

Personal: Brother, Brad Kowalczyk '15, attends UR and is a member of the Rochester Track and Field program.
