At UR 2018-19: Indoor: Made a huge impact during first season with Rochester...Was part of UR's 4x400 meter relay team which qualified for the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships, ending in 9th place, one spot out of All-American honors...Selected as Liberty League Rookie of the Year following season which he finished in the top-10 in every race...Liberty League Champion in the 800 meters in a season-best 1:56.21, earning 1st Team All-LL accolades...Also, was Honorable Mention All-Conference in the 400 meters and on 4x400 meters...Part of UR's 4x400 meter relay which won the All-Atlantic Regional title in a 3:19.84 time, placing 3rd individually in the 400 meters in 49.72 seconds, helping the Yellowjackets finish in 4th at the meet...USTFCCCA All-Region in both the 800 meters and the 4x400 meter relay...Finished indoor season ranked 32nd individually in Division III in the 400 meters and 15th as a part of UR's 4x400 meter relay...Opened collegiate career with win and runner-up performance at Utica Pioneer Winter Classic on Dec. 8...Picked as Liberty League Rookie of the Week on four occasions during the season.
Outdoor: Kept great first-year season going outdoors, finishing with seven meet appearances...Was 2nd Team All-Liberty League in both the 400 meters and 4x400 meter relay, finishing runner-up in both events...Two school records during the spring, breaking the 400 meter mark with 48.27 seconds time at the Raleigh Relays in March...On 4x400 meter school record relay which finished 4th at the All-Atlantic Regional Championships in 3:16.90...Also, was 6th in the 400 meters at the AAR meet...Lowest finish of the season was 12th, coming against D1 competition at NC State...USTFCCCA All-Region honors in the 400 meters...Ranked 25th individually in the 400 meters in Division III and part of relay which ranked 35th...Liberty League Performer of the Week on Apr. 1 and was two-time conference Rookie of the Week...Named one of seven from UR to earn USTFCCCA All-Academic accolades.
HS: Attended Butula Boys School (Kenya) and African Leadership Academy (South Africa)...Participated in track and field, volleyball and soccer...Captained volleyball teams at both schools and was team leader on track and field squad at ALA...African Leadership Academy volleyball MVP for three straight seasons and was named Peacock Player of the Season in 2016-17...Butula Boys Athlete of the Year in 2013-14...Member of Butula Student Government and was Chairperson of the Science & Engineering Fair.
