At UR 2013: Senior team captain finished off career with another outstanding season, competing in six events...Won the Yellowjacket Invitational on Sep. 14, posting a time of 25:49.1, defeating 162 other runners...Ended 5th at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble and finished 9th at the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championships, automatically qualifying for the NCAA Championships as an individual...Finished in 169th place at NCAAs, competing in his third straight National Championship meet...NYSCTC Runner of the Week on Sep. 16...Honored for his work in the classroom with Garnish Award and named UR Athletic Departments Male Scholar Athlete...Also, honored as an All-Academic selection by the UAA and USTFCCCA...CoSIDA Academic All-District honoree.

At UR 2012: The junior was named team captain in 2012 and led by example, being one of UR's top runners during the season...In his seven races, compiled an average finish of 38th place and had five top-25s, most on the team...Competed at the NCAA Division III Championships and placed 159th, helping UR earn 21st place in the event...Ran a seasons best time of 25:50.7 at the UAA Championships in GVP on Oct. 27...Member of UAA All-Academic team in addition to being recognized by the USTFCCCA.

At UR 2011: In his sophomore season at UR, competed in eight races including the NCAA Division III Championships where he helped the Yellowjackets to a 22nd place finish...Finished in the top-10 four times on the season, with his best finish coming at the season opening Brockport Invitational where he finished 5th, besting 49 other competitors...Placed 6th at the Yellowjacket Invitational on Oct. 15 and the next week ran in 10th place at the NYSCTC meet helping UR finish 2nd in the state.

HS: Attended C.W. Baker HS where he was a member of the cross country, indoor track and outdoor track teams...Team captain of cross country team as a junior...3-time 1st Team All-Conference XC selection along with being named at least 2nd Team All-League his sophomore season on...1st Team All-League in outdoor track in the 3200m...Helped Bees to CNYCL league championship his junior year...Class Valedictorian, National Merit Scholarship finalist and AP scholar.

Family: Younger brother Ethan ('15) is also a member of the Yellowjacket cross country and track and field teams.
